About this fabric

This colourway combines cool blue-green notes with olive and yellow accents, set against a pale cream ground that keeps the design fresh rather than heavy. The velvet construction gives the striped blocks a plush, directional texture, and the 18 cm horizontal by 17 cm vertical repeat creates a clear, rhythmic pattern across the cloth. Woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, it has a substantial handle suited to severe contract upholstery, with a 100,000 Martindale rub test and a usable width of 138 cm. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice where the fabric needs to balance visual detail with durability.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair or banquette to lift a room with its cool, gallery-like palette. It also works well as statement curtains where the vertical pattern can emphasise height and the velvet pile softens the sharper stripe motif.
