About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, grounded neutral, with pale dove grey bands softened by ivory and warm taupe sections. The velvet surface brings a subtle sheen to the stripes, while the wavy geometric repeat gives the pattern a relaxed sense of movement. Made from 54% viscose and 46% polyester, it has the handle and depth associated with velvet, yet the performance is suited to practical interiors too. With a usable width of 138cm, a 18cm horizontal repeat, a 17cm vertical repeat and a severe contract upholstery grade, it is designed for demanding schemes as well as decorative window treatments. The 100,000 Martindale rating and FR treatability for drapery and upholstery make it a versatile choice where a calm neutral needs to work hard.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored sofa or banquet seat to bring softness to contemporary stone, oak or blackened metal interiors. It also works well as statement curtains, where the dove grey ground and gentle sheen will read especially elegant in daylight.
