About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, COTTINGLEY Steel has a usable width of 140cm and a medium-scale check that repeats every 35cm horizontally and 12cm vertically. The 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday seating as well as drapery and accessories. In this colourway, the palette is distinctly cool: steel grey sits beside soft black, beige and a faint dusty rose note, giving the cloth a restrained, modern country feel. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, and the 5 colour fastness rating adds practical reassurance for interior use.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, bench seat or Roman blind where the measured check can be seen clearly. The cool grey tone pairs neatly with pale oak, off-white paintwork and deeper charcoal accents.
