About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, CLAYTON Indigo 2 has a smooth, tightly worked plain appearance with no visible repeat, giving it a calm, understated finish. The 140cm usable width makes it straightforward for upholstery and curtain making, while the 20,000 Martindale rating supports General Domestic use. It is treatable for FR Drapery and Upholstery, and the colour fastness of 5 adds reassurance for everyday interiors. The colour reads as a deep indigo blue with a cool, slightly muted depth that softens toward navy in the folds.

How to use it

Use this indigo shade on an armchair or bench for a tailored, grounding effect, or hang it as drapery where the folds can emphasise its subtle sheen. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metals.

A cool indigo cloth that works neatly across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
