About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a hard-wearing Martindale rating of 100,000, making it suitable for demanding upholstery as well as accessories and drapery. The design shows a compact, irregular grid of small rounded marks and short strokes, giving the cloth a tactile, almost cracked-mosaic effect. In this colourway, the deep navy and ink tones feel cool and restrained, while the lighter woven highlights keep the surface from looking flat. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery and is classified as Severe Contract, so it brings decorative character to high-use settings.

How to use it

Use it on statement chairs, banquettes, or cushions where the midnight ground can anchor a scheme without feeling heavy. It also works well with pale stone, soft grey, or warm metallic accents to let the blue pattern stand out.
