About this fabric

Part of Colefax and Fowler’s Chester collection, Clancey Beige is a fabric with a repeat of approximately V 4cm and H 4cm, and a width of approximately 144cm. Its composition is 64% viscose, 21% linen, 8% cotton, 4% polyamide and 3% polyacrylic, which gives the cloth a softly structured handle rather than a crisp, chalky finish. In the image, the tiny geometric diamond motif sits close to tone-on-tone, so the pattern appears subtle and refined rather than high contrast. The colour is a warm, sandy beige with a slightly mellow cast, making the texture visible without overpowering a room.

How to use it

This colourway suits upholstery where you want pattern in the background, especially on armchairs, benches or dining seats. It also works for relaxed curtains in a light, neutral scheme, where the small-scale texture can catch daylight gently.
