Croft Beige

Chester FabricF4851-04

Croft Beige is a softly striated neutral with a warm, sunlit cast and a gently linen-like surface. The colour reads as an easy beige rather than a flat cream, with subtle vertical movement giving the cloth quiet depth.

About this fabric

This Chester fabric has a dry, textural look that suits its blend of 44% cotton, 28% linen, 14% wool, 13% polyester and 1% polyamide. In Croft Beige, the weave shows fine vertical lines and faint tonal shifts, creating a calm, tactile surface rather than a crisp plain. With a width of approx. 143cm and no repeat to consider, it is straightforward to pattern match and versatile for tailored schemes. The warm beige tone sits between sand and oatmeal, making it feel softer and slightly richer than a cool neutral. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Croft Beige on an armchair, loose cover or lined curtains where its warm neutral tone can bring softness without visual weight. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and muted stone finishes.

A softly textured neutral that works comfortably across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
