Cotley Beige

Bampton FabricF4897-01

Cotley Beige is a softly textured plain in a warm pale beige tone, with a light-speckled surface that keeps the colour from reading flat. The overall effect is understated and refined rather than stark or creamy.

About this fabric

This plain fabric has a fine, even weave with a gentle linen-like texture visible across the surface, giving Cotley Beige a quiet depth in the light. The shade sits between sand and putty, with a warm beige cast that feels softer than a true taupe and less yellow than a cream. It is woven in 61% viscose, 19% cotton, 11% linen and 9% polyester, and the cloth is approximately 139cm wide. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, it suits projects that need a calm, continuous finish. The CH fire code makes it suitable for interiors where compliance is required.

How to use it

Use it on a neatly tailored sofa, occasional chair or banquette where the warm beige tone will bring softness without dominating the room. It also works well with oak, aged brass and chalky off-whites for a restrained, layered scheme.

A calm neutral that works neatly across tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
