Birch Stripe Green

Ashmead Block Prints FabricF4752-01

Birch Stripe Green pairs a soft sage ground with narrow vertical leafy stripes for a fresh, quietly tailored look. The print feels orderly and airy, with just enough movement to keep the surface from reading flat.

About this fabric

Part of the Ashmead Block Prints collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in 100% linen and measures approximately 143cm wide. The design repeats at roughly 7cm vertically and horizontally, creating a neat, small-scale stripe rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the leafy motif reads as an understated sage green against a pale, natural background, giving the print a cool, calm character rather than a bright botanical one. The linen texture softens the pattern and adds a gentle, relaxed handle that suits decorative interior use.

How to use it

Use it where you want pattern without heaviness: a tailored armchair, dining seat pads, or simple curtains in a room with timber and painted finishes. The soft sage tone sits especially well with oak, stone, and off-white palettes.

A muted sage stripe that feels calm and tailored on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
