About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 38% Cotton, 38% Linen, 19% Viscose, 3% Polyamide and 2% Polyester, with a width of approximately 130cm and a vertical repeat of about 79cm with a horizontal repeat of about 65cm. The weave has a smooth, slightly textural surface that softens the ornate damask pattern rather than making it look heavy. In this colourway, the ground sits in a pale amber-beige gold, while the pattern is lifted in a lighter cream-gold tone that catches the light subtly. The overall effect is warm, graceful and decorative, with enough body for upholstery and enough elegance for curtains or blinds.

How to use it

Use it to add warmth to a formal sitting room, particularly on an armchair, pelmet or full-length drapery where the damask can show its scale. Its soft gold tone pairs well with ivory, walnut and aged brass.
