About this fabric

This 129gsm Clarke & Clarke fabric is a fine drapery cloth, with alternating ochre and ivory vertical panels and closely spaced pinstripes visible across the lighter bands. The ochre reads warm and gently muted rather than bright, while the ivory areas keep the overall effect light. Its 307cm usable width is suited to generous curtain drops, and the 307cm vertical pattern repeat allows the stripe layout to run confidently through a full-length treatment. The horizontal pattern repeat is 79cm, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Nora Ochre for full-height curtains where its warm ochre bands can add gentle definition without overpowering an ivory or neutral room. Pair it with natural wood and softly textured upholstery to echo its understated, finely lined surface.

The warm ochre and ivory stripe brings soft contrast to full-height curtains while preserving a light, airy feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nora Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
