Soraya Ochre

Prince Of Persia FabricCCF0455-07

Soraya Ochre brings a warm, muted ochre ground to the Prince Of Persia collection, overlaid with repeating ivory diamond and lozenge forms. Its lightly irregular woven surface gives the high-contrast geometry a softened, tactile character.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a repeating arrangement of ivory, stepped diamond motifs, each enclosing a smaller ochre lozenge, with tiny connecting diamond details between the larger forms. The ochre reads as warm and softly earthy rather than bright, while the ivory pattern catches the light across the textured weave. With a 301 gsm weight and a 141 cm usable width, it has a substantial woven handle suited to upholstery. The pattern repeat measures 18 cm vertically and 17.6 cm horizontally, creating a steady medium-scale rhythm across the cloth.

How to use it

Use Soraya Ochre on a statement armchair, dining seat or occasional upholstery where its warm ochre tone can sit alongside ivory, walnut and brushed brass. Keep surrounding fabrics quieter so the stepped diamond repeat remains the focal detail.

Use the warm ochre ground with ivory upholstery, timber and natural-texture accents for a quietly graphic scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Soraya Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
