About this fabric

The ivory base remains dominant, while narrow coral-red, burgundy, yellow, blue-green and dark threads create a gently irregular striped surface. Occasional darker flecks and uneven slubs add depth without making the pattern feel bold or geometric. At 166gsm and 303cm wide, this fine textile is well suited to fluid curtain drops and generous window treatments. Its 5cm vertical and 10cm horizontal repeats keep the woven stripe subtle across the full width.

How to use it

Use Lucas Summer for relaxed full-length curtains in a light, airy room, where its ivory ground can soften the stronger coral, wine and mustard threads. Pair it with warm white walls and simple natural textures to echo its informal woven character.

Use this lightweight ivory stripe at full length to bring soft colour and a lightly textured, informal feel to windows.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
