About this fabric

The dense 600gsm construction gives this fabric a substantial feel suited to upholstery, while the closely woven surface helps the saturated colours read with clarity. Vertical stripes combine vivid pink-magenta, cool peacock teal, olive green, burgundy, cream and touches of rust, with the changing shapes adding rhythm across the width. It has a 140cm usable width and a 35m standard length. The pattern repeats every 7.2cm vertically and 34.2cm horizontally, making the striped geometry easy to align across upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use Orpheus Magenta/Peacock on a statement chair, headboard or compact sofa where its cool teal and intense magenta can lead the scheme. Balance the bold stripes with plain cream, warm timber and restrained olive or burgundy accents.

A richly coloured, substantial woven for statement upholstery, bringing magenta, peacock teal and warm contrasting tones to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
