Alberte Summer

Vardo Sheers Fabric FabricCCF0655-03

Alberte Summer has a soft ivory sheer ground crossed by fine, irregular lines in pale yellow, blush pink, mint and deeper berry tones. The open, lightly textured weave lets the coloured grid read as delicate detail rather than a dominant pattern.

About this fabric

At 77gsm, this is a lightweight cloth suited to drapery, with a fine horizontal texture visible across the translucent ground. Its useable width is 305 cm, making it practical for broad window treatments with fewer joins. The checked design repeats every 8 cm vertically and 9.3 cm horizontally, while the varied pastel yarns give each crossing a gently handmade, uneven character. A standard length of 40 m is supplied.

How to use it

Use Alberte Summer for relaxed full-length curtains in a pale room, where its ivory base keeps the effect airy and the pastel yellow, mint, pink and berry lines add quiet colour. Pair it with warm white upholstery and natural timber to preserve its soft, informal mood.

Use this light, pastel-check sheer to soften windows without introducing a strong block of colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
