Anton Midnight

Vardo Sheers Fabric FabricCCF0657-03

Anton Midnight pairs a deep midnight-blue ground with repeated cream arches formed from narrow vertical stripes. Fine linear texture across the surface gives the dark colourway subtle movement without softening its graphic geometry.

About this fabric

This 174 gsm sheer has a cool, deep blue ground crossed by large partial-circle and circular motifs in closely spaced cream stripes. The fine vertical surface lines remain visible through the dark ground, adding a lightly textured finish to the crisp pattern. A 60.5 cm vertical repeat and 109.7 cm horizontal repeat set the arches into a strong, architectural rhythm. With a useable width of 302 cm, it is especially well suited to wide drapery panels and full-height curtains.

How to use it

Use Anton Midnight at full length against pale plaster, warm ivory or light timber to sharpen the contrast between the cool blue ground and cream striping. Keep surrounding upholstery quiet so the large arched repeat remains the room’s defining graphic detail.

Use this cool midnight-and-cream colourway for full-height curtains where its arched stripe motif can repeat across generous widths.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Anton Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
