Orpheus Denim

Urban Fabric FabricCCF0744-01

Orpheus Denim combines cool denim blue with aqua, cream and taupe in a tightly woven vertical geometric design. The varied bands give this colourway a layered, textile-rich appearance, with the blue accents adding depth without overpowering the softer neutrals.

About this fabric

The design is formed from alternating vertical bands of linked geometric motifs, small rounded shapes and fine linear textures, creating a structured stripe across the cloth. Denim blue and aqua provide the strongest accents, while cream and warm taupe soften the overall contrast and give the colourway a balanced, slightly weathered character. At 600 gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 140 cm. Its pattern repeat is 7.2 cm vertically and 34.2 cm horizontally, useful details when aligning the repeated bands across a project.

How to use it

Pair Orpheus Denim with pale oak, chalky walls and warm taupe upholstery for a calm, contemporary scheme. Its cool blue and aqua details also work well as a measured colour lift against cream seating or natural woven accessories.

Use this substantial woven stripe to bring cool denim, aqua and soft neutrals to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
