About this fabric
Woven in a wide 295cm width, Tanya Grenat combines 43% cotton, 34% viscose, 14% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester, giving the cloth a balanced handle with visible texture and structure. The stripe pattern repeats vertically every 74cm approx, with narrow pale lines set between broader grenat and burgundy bands for a neat, elongated look. In this colourway the red register is muted and grown-up, closer to claret and dried rose than a vivid crimson, so the finish feels refined rather than flashy. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for the fabric.
How to use it
Use Grenat to add depth against chalky plaster, pale oak or warm brass, where the darker red bands can stand out without overpowering the room. It works especially well on tailored curtains, banquettes or statement cushions when you want a smart, heritage feel with a little sheen.
