Tanya Indigo

Tanya Indigo is a refined vertical stripe with a cool indigo ground and pale natural bands that give the surface a tailored, architectural feel. The slim repeat and strong directionality create a crisp, orderly look across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in a generous 295cm width, with a repeat of approximately V 74cm / H 37cm, making it practical for larger furnishings and window treatments. The composition combines 43% Cotton, 34% Viscose and 14% Linen with a little Acrylic and Polyester, which helps explain the fabric’s slightly textured, tactile finish. In this Indigo colourway, the stripes read as deep navy against soft beige tones, with the darker accents adding contrast without feeling harsh. The overall effect is smart and understated, with enough depth in the weave to bring interest to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair it with pale oak, chalky paint colours and simple black accents to let the indigo stripes stay crisp. It works especially well on upholstered dining chairs, relaxed curtains or a bench where the vertical rhythm can be seen clearly.

Use it for tailored upholstery or full-height curtains where the crisp vertical stripe can add quiet drama.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
