About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric from the Tanya collection has a crisp, small-scale geometric rhythm that reads structured and tailored in this colourway. The mix of 43% cotton, 34% viscose, 14% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester gives the cloth a natural, lightly textured handle with a subtle matte sheen across the darker brown bars. With a width of approximately 295cm and a vertical repeat of approximately 30cm by 8cm, it is a practical wide fabric for confident schemes. The brown and sand palette feels warm rather than heavy, with enough contrast to keep the pattern lively from a distance.

How to use it

Use this tobacco-brown colourway on tailored upholstered pieces, especially where the small repeat can add texture without overpowering the room. It works particularly well with oak, walnut and warm neutral wall colours.

Pairs well with timber, camel leather and deep olive accents for a tailored, grounded look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
