Frida Prairie
Tanya FabricM4088-06
Frida Prairie pairs a rhythmic vertical stripe with a woven, slightly textured finish that feels crisp and graphic at first glance. The olive green ground is lifted by blush-pink and cream detailing, giving the design a fresh but grounded character.

About this fabric
Frida Prairie is from Manuel Canovas' Tanya collection and is woven in a generous 295cm width, making it especially useful for wider drapery drops and large-scale furnishings. The design shows a repeating vertical stripe with jagged, ikat-like accents in olive green, softened by cream and edged with narrow pink bands. Its composition of 43% cotton, 34% viscose, 14% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester gives the cloth a natural, slightly dry handle with enough body to sit neatly. The colourway reads as an earthy green rather than a bright one, with the pink striping adding warmth and contrast without overpowering the pattern.
How to use it
Use it to bring pattern and colour to upholstered occasional chairs, or as full-length curtains where the 29cm x 22cm repeat can be appreciated in the folds. It works particularly well with warm neutrals, aged timber and tan leather, letting the olive and blush tones feel composed rather than busy.
A lively stripe that brings colour and structure to both tailored upholstery and statement curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Frida Prairie without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
