Rivoli Framboise
Rivoli III Fabric04982-14
Rivoli Framboise is a deep, jewel-like red with a velvety-looking surface and a very even, plain finish. In the light it reads as a dark framboise rather than a bright scarlet, giving it a moody, saturated presence.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a close, smooth plain weave with a soft sheen that sits quietly across the surface rather than catching sharply. The shade is a rich, winey framboise red: dark, warm and slightly berry-toned, with enough depth to feel elegant rather than vivid. It is composed of 93% cotton and 7% modal, and the fabric is approximately 140cm wide with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which suits a clean all-over finish. With its grounded handle and luxe-looking depth, it is well suited to upholstery where a saturated red can anchor a scheme without pattern distraction.
How to use it
Use this framboise tone on a statement armchair, banquette or bench seat to bring warmth into darker woods and brass accents. It also works well with soft neutrals, tobacco leather and deep green for a layered, hotel-like palette.
A rich berry tone that adds depth and warmth to tailored upholstery or dramatic cushions.

Pairs well with
Rivoli Framboise is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
