About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dark, warm red-brown, with the oxblood tone softened by darker threads running through the weave. Its small-scale herringbone structure is clearly visible across the swatch, giving the surface a finely ridged, tactile character. The close weave and visually substantial texture make it best suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so it should be assessed against the intended project requirements before use.

How to use it

Pair the deep oxblood tone with aged timber, tobacco leather and muted neutrals for a richly layered scheme. It would bring particular depth to a tailored armchair, bench or compact sofa where the fine herringbone can be seen at close range.

Use this deep oxblood weave to bring warmth and visual depth to tailored seating and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
