About this fabric

This plain velvet has a warm, vivid tomato tone rather than a cool burgundy, giving the colourway a confident and richly enveloping appearance. Its low, even pile catches the light gently as the fabric folds, creating tonal depth without a visible motif. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 100% polyester, with an allowance for 3% shrinkage; care instructions include Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Tomato on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm red depth can anchor neutral walls and timber. Pair it with aged brass, walnut and softly contrasting cream or tobacco tones to balance the velvet’s saturated colour.
