About this fabric

The close, even velvet pile gives this colourway a smooth surface, while the directional nap creates darker bands where the fabric bends. Brick reads warmer and earthier than a vivid orange, with a subdued depth that suits both traditional and contemporary upholstery. Made from 100% polyester, it is supplied at approximately 137cm wide and allows 3% shrinkage. It is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings, with delicate washing at 30°C or dry cleaning advised.

How to use it

Use Brick on a buttoned armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its russet warmth can anchor cream, walnut and natural timber tones. Pair it with muted blush, ochre or deep olive accents to bring out the velvet’s earthy depth.

A warm brick-toned velvet that brings depth and soft sheen to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
