About this fabric

This plain velvet is made from 100% polyester and measures approximately 137cm wide. The image shows a close, even pile with a restrained lustre: raised areas read as lighter seafoam, while the folded sections deepen into blue-green shadow. Rated for Contract and General Domestic use, it is specified for Fixed Upholstery. Care is listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, with up to 3% shrinkage allowed.

How to use it

Use this cool seafoam teal on a buttoned or softly curved chair to emphasise the velvet’s changing light, then balance it with chalky neutrals, pale timber or blue-grey accents. Its muted depth also suits an upholstered headboard or built-in banquette where the plain surface can remain the room’s quiet colour focus.
