About this fabric

This plain velvet has a richly tactile surface, with the close pile catching the light in broad, smoky highlights across the swatch. Lagoon reads as a muted, cool teal rather than a bright turquoise, giving the colourway depth without becoming heavy or sombre. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery at Contract and General Domestic grades. Care instructions are Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, with 3% shrinkage allowed.

How to use it

Use Lagoon on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool teal depth can anchor pale timber, warm neutrals and brushed metal. The velvet’s shifting blue-green nap is especially effective on curved or softly padded forms, where the folds reveal its tonal variation.
