Malmo Currant

Malmo FabricLF2086FR

Malmo Currant brings a muted currant-red geometric weave to a warm cream ground. Its densely repeated, broken lattice motif has a softly textured appearance that gives the colourway depth without becoming visually heavy.

About this fabric

The small-scale pattern is formed from irregular burgundy-red lines that interlock across the cream background, creating a trellis-like rhythm with a subtly softened edge. The woven surface catches the light unevenly, allowing the currant shade to shift from dusky red to deeper berry tones across the swatch. Made from 30% linen, 61% viscose and 9% polyester, Malmo is approximately 140cm wide and specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Malmo Currant on a tailored armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its warm cream base can brighten the upholstery while the muted currant pattern adds grounded colour. Pair it with oatmeal, putty and aged timber for a calm scheme, or introduce deeper burgundy accents to draw out the weave’s richer notes.

A finely textured cream-and-currant weave for tailored fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
