About this fabric
Aril's Garden Olive/Mulberry is a printed fabric with a generous 137 cm usable width and a large 70.9 cm vertical repeat, so the trailing branches and birds can be placed to best effect across a project. The image shows a pale cream ground threaded with tan stems, olive leaves and scattered blossoms in mulberry, rose, coral and touches of soft blue. At 252 gsm and 38 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial decorative textile with enough body for considered use in either upholstery or drapery. The overall effect is detailed and romantic rather than bold, with the olive element keeping the palette grounded as the mulberry accents lift the design.
How to use it
This colourway suits rooms that need a light background but still want visible pattern, especially alongside painted woodwork in warm white, moss or muted plaster shades. It works well on a feature chair, curtains or cushions where the cream ground can brighten the space and the mulberry florals add depth.
Use it where the painterly garden motif can be shown to full effect, especially on statement upholstery or elegant drapery.
