About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Arboretum Fabrics collection is a substantial 425 gsm textile with a usable width of 137 cm, making it well suited to upholstery projects where body and presence matter. The pattern repeat is large, at 74.1 cm vertically and 68.6 cm horizontally, which suits the sweeping tree forms and repeated woodland clusters visible in the design. In this colourway, the dominant forest green reads as deep and slightly inky, lifted by muted olive leaves, soft cream ground, and scattered accents of plum, rust and faded teal. The overall effect is layered and atmospheric rather than bright, with the dense canopy details giving the cloth a formal, tailored character.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or window seat where the large repeat can be appreciated. It works especially well with natural oak, aged brass and quiet mineral tones that echo the cool, shaded ground.

Pairs well with pale wood, mossy accents and crisp neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
