About this fabric

This colourway reads as a restrained brown-taupe rather than a strong tan, with cool grey shading through the folds that gives the plain surface quiet depth. Its velvety nap catches the light in soft bands, creating tonal variation without a pattern or visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in both General Domestic and Contract settings. Care is listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, with 3% shrinkage allowed.

How to use it

Pair the mushroom-taupe tone with chalky neutrals, warm timber and aged brass for a calm, tailored scheme. Its shifting grey-brown surface also works well on a generously shaped armchair or sofa where the nap can catch changing light.
