About this fabric

Cobalt, cornflower and muted blue flowers stand out against the almost-black background, while warm tan monkeys, palms and curling foliage add contrast. The large-scale botanical and animal arrangement is busy but tonally controlled, with the dark ground giving the blue flowers considerable depth. Made from 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, this approximately 137cm-wide fabric is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. Care is listed as a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, with washing recommended only with care.

How to use it

Use Monkey Puzzle Black on a feature chair, ottoman or banquette where its cool blue flowers can take centre stage. Pair the near-black ground with aged timber, charcoal textiles and small touches of tan to draw out the monkeys and palm foliage.

Use this richly illustrated black colourway on statement upholstery, or balance it with quiet blue and warm tan accents.
