Monkey Puzzle Old Blue

Wild Life FabricLF2332FR

Monkey Puzzle Old Blue sets a pale, softened blue ground against a dense landscape of deep blue-grey foliage, palms, fruit and small climbing monkeys. Its cool, weathered colour gives the lively scene a quietly composed, vintage feel.

About this fabric

This 137cm fabric combines 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose in a detailed botanical print. Dark blue-grey palms, curling stems, clustered blooms, rounded fruit and perched monkeys create a large-scale conversational repeat across the muted old-blue background. The cool ground keeps the abundant imagery from feeling overly bright, while the tonal depth gives each leafy and floral group definition. Rated for Contract and General Domestic use, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery.

How to use it

Use the cool old-blue ground to temper warm timber, antique brass and natural linen, or pair it with deeper navy upholstery for a layered, collected scheme. The large scenic repeat is especially effective on statement curtains or a carefully selected upholstered chair.

A richly detailed old-blue botanical scene that brings decorative character to curtains, occasional seating and fixed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Monkey Puzzle Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
