About this fabric

The close woven texture creates small irregular flecks and subtle tonal variation across the surface, giving the plain design tactile depth without a printed motif. This colourway reads as smoky indigo with a slate-grey cast, while the raised fibres catch the light in tiny shifts from blue to charcoal. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. The composition is 44% viscose, 41% cotton, 9% linen and 6% nylon, and it should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Sienna Indigo on a tailored chair, banquette or headboard where its cool blue-grey depth can anchor paler stone, chalk and warm timber tones. As curtains, its textured surface will soften the darker indigo into a quiet slate frame around a room.

The substantial nubby weave gives this cool indigo blue-grey textile enough presence for fixed upholstery while remaining suitable for curtains.
