About this fabric

The close weave is visibly irregular, with small slub-like flecks creating a tactile surface rather than a completely flat plain. Sienna Ink reads as charcoal grey in the swatch, with subtle tonal variation that prevents the dark colour from looking harsh or uniform. At approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. It is woven from 44% viscose, 41% cotton, 9% linen and 6% nylon, and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Sienna Ink to upholster a structured chair, banquette or sofa where its cool charcoal depth can anchor pale stone, blue-grey and softened lilac tones. Its plain texture also gives full-length curtains a more tactile finish without introducing a competing motif.

A cool charcoal woven texture for tailored upholstery, curtains and quietly sophisticated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
