Croquet Violane

Small Prints FabricLF2346C

Croquet Violane combines a soft cream linen ground with alternating pale blue vertical bands, giving the stripe a cool, airy character. Each blue band is edged with a delicate, irregular zigzag line that adds definition without making the design feel busy.

About this fabric

This printed 100% linen has a lightly textured surface, visible through the softly irregular weave of the pale cream ground and blue-lilac stripes. The vertical bands are framed by fine, undulating blue edges, while subtle dotted detailing gives the pattern added depth at close range. At approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

The cool pale blue and lilac tones work well with chalky whites, washed timber and gentle grey-blue upholstery. Use it for relaxed full-length curtains, or introduce the stripe on a chair or headboard against a warmer cream interior.

Use the cool blue-lilac stripes to bring a calm, lightly tailored feel to curtains, blinds or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
