Bagatelle Cardinal

Small Prints FabricLF2344C

Bagatelle Cardinal combines a warm coral-cardinal floral print with a softly creamy ground. Its closely packed branching sprigs create a lively, decorative surface while the linen texture keeps the colour feeling natural rather than glossy.

About this fabric

The design is formed from small, irregular leafy branches and floral sprigs in a muted coral-red, with the pale cream ground showing clearly between the motifs. The printed 100% linen has a subtly tactile, natural surface that suits the informal character of this small-scale pattern. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning, and the fabric should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Pair the warm coral-red with chalky creams, aged timber and softly weathered neutrals for a welcoming traditional room. Use it on relaxed curtains or a statement armchair where the small branching repeat can be appreciated up close.

Use this warm coral-red small print to bring gentle pattern and colour to curtains, occasional upholstery or a relaxed traditional scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bagatelle Cardinal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
