Cranbourne Rhubarb Compote

Arcadia FabricLF1820

Cranbourne Rhubarb Compote layers dusty rhubarb, muted rose and warm blush across a creamy ground. Its richly detailed floral and paisley arrangement has the softened, timeworn character of a classic printed textile.

About this fabric

Large stylised flowers, curling paisley forms and small botanical sprigs create a closely arranged pattern, with the principal motifs picked out in subdued rhubarb pink and muted burgundy. The warm cream background keeps the colourway light, while the dusty print gives it depth without looking bright or highly saturated. At approximately 137cm wide, this 20% linen and 80% viscose fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a Contract and General Domestic upholstery grade. Dry cleaning is recommended.

How to use it

Use the warm cream ground to connect this colourway with natural plaster, aged timber and pale upholstery, then echo its rhubarb and blush notes in piping, cushions or painted joinery. Its generous floral scale is especially effective on relaxed curtains or a statement upholstered chair.

A softly faded rhubarb floral for curtains and tailored upholstery against warm cream and blush schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
