Croquet Rose

Small Prints FabricLF2346C

Croquet Rose combines broad, muted blush-pink stripes with a pale warm-cream ground. Narrow mustard-olive zigzag borders give the design a lively, hand-drawn character against the softly textured linen.

About this fabric

The vertical stripe arrangement alternates wide blush panels with fine cream sections, each pink panel framed by a slim, irregular zigzag motif in mustard and olive tones. The colourway reads gentle and slightly warm rather than bright, with the pale linen ground keeping the overall effect light. Croquet Rose is made from 100% linen, is approximately 137cm wide and is supplied for curtain use, with a General Domestic upholstery grade also noted. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning, and the fabric should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use Croquet Rose as full-length curtains in a bedroom, sitting room or country-style dining space, where its blush pink and cream palette can soften painted walls. Pick up the mustard-olive edging with small accents in cushions, piping or ceramics, while keeping larger furnishings natural and understated.

Use the soft blush and cream stripe for relaxed curtains, pairing it with natural wood and warm ivory furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Croquet Rose without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
