About this fabric

Broad, broken ivory patches spread across the near-black ground, with smaller flecks and irregular edges creating a convincing animal-hide impression. The visible surface is softly textured and subtly mottled rather than perfectly flat, so the dark areas have depth when viewed close up. Its stark charcoal-and-ivory contrast feels graphic and dramatic, while the warmer cream markings soften the severity of the black. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Friesian on a statement armchair, footstool or headboard where its charcoal ground can anchor a room. Balance the bold pattern with warm ivory textiles, dark timber and restrained plain upholstery in the surrounding scheme.
