Archive Collection FabricFOREST SCENE - COL 5
Forest Scene Midnight layers a deep charcoal-blue ground with an intricate garden of foliage, rosettes and small naturalistic forms. The restrained palette gives the busy design a cool, atmospheric depth.

About this fabric
The pattern is densely filled with curling branches, serrated leaves, rounded flowers and small bird- or animal-like figures. Sage, olive and blue-green foliage sit against the midnight ground, while pale grey-green blooms provide gentle highlights. Muted blush, terracotta and ochre details add warmth without breaking the colourway’s dusky character. The close-set arrangement creates a richly collected effect, with the darkest areas receding and the paler flowers catching the eye.
How to use it
Use Forest Scene Midnight where its cool, shadowed ground can balance warm timber, aged brass and natural linen. It works particularly well as a statement upholstery or drapery choice, with plain fabrics drawn from its sage, charcoal or muted russet accents.
A richly detailed midnight ground that brings layered foliage, flowers and muted russet accents to upholstery or window treatments.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Forest Scene Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
