Romilly Chocolate

Romilly FabricF4926-04

Romilly Chocolate has a rich, dark ground that makes the small geometric motif read crisp and tailored. The close repeat gives the surface a steady, textured rhythm rather than a bold all-over statement.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a width of approximately 136cm and a repeat of V 3cm / H 3cm approx, making the pattern feel finely scaled and controlled. The chocolate base is lifted by warm russet and tan accents, so the design reads deeper and more nuanced than a flat brown. From a distance it has the look of a tightly patterned small-scale geometric; up close, the tiny linked shapes create a subtle, almost woven lattice effect. With no performance features noted and a BM fire code, it is best considered for decorative upholstery where its compact pattern and warm depth can bring structure to a scheme.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a chair, banquette, or ottoman where the dark chocolate tone can anchor lighter walls and upholstery. It works especially well with aged brass, walnut, and oatmeal linen for a warm, composed interior.

Pairs well with warm neutrals and dark timber for a tailored, classic look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
