Mellar Aqua

Romilly FabricF4925-02

Mellar Aqua shows a softly weathered, pebble-like pattern in a cool aqua and grey-green palette. The small-scale motif reads calm and textural rather than bold.

About this fabric

This Romilly fabric is woven in a practical mid-weight blend of 79% Cotton, 12% Polyester and 9% Viscose, with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 32cm by 34cm across. In this Aqua colourway, the ground appears pale, misty and slightly chalky, while the clustered motif sits in a muted grey-green that gives the surface a gently mottled depth. The texture has a dry, crosshatched feel that softens the pattern and keeps the overall effect understated. With its √BM fire code and versatile handle, it suits both tailored furnishings and elegant window treatments.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, ottoman or occasional curtains where the cool aqua can lift darker woods and stone finishes. It works especially well with warm white paint and brushed brass for a quiet, contemporary scheme.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the cool aqua ground the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
