Stratford Tapestry Blue

Roscoe FabricF3831-25

Stratford Tapestry Blue is a quietly textured weave in a softened slate-blue tone, with tiny specks of lighter yarn that keep the surface from reading flat. The finish feels understated and tailored rather than bright or shiny.

About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, muted blue-grey character, with the weave giving it a dry, slightly slubbed look that softens the overall effect. The small-scale texture is visible across the whole surface, so the cloth reads as tonal and restrained rather than patterned. With a width of approximately 140cm and a composition of 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, it has a balanced, versatile handle suited to interior use. The repeat is vertical 0cm and horizontal 0cm approximately, confirming the design’s plain, non-directional appearance. The care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want colour without emphasis: on a streamlined sofa, tailored headboard or relaxed curtains, its slate-blue cast will sit easily with pale oak, chalky whites and deeper navy accents. It is especially effective in rooms that need a cool, smart backdrop rather than a vivid statement.

A cool, understated blue with a refined woven texture that works neatly across drapes and upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
