About this fabric

This colourway reads as a pale old blue with a soft grey undertone, so it feels restrained rather than bright. The weave is visible but refined, with the cloth taking the light in a quietly textured way rather than showing a shine. It is a practical 140cm-wide fabric in 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, with no repeat to interrupt the surface. The balanced fibre blend and substantial-looking weave make it well suited to both upholstery and drapery where a calm, woven texture is wanted.

How to use it

Use it for a relaxed sofa, bench cushion or full-length curtains where the cool blue-grey tone can soften stronger woods and stone. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and deeper navy accents.

A quietly tonal blue that feels easy and versatile across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
