Jocasta Old Blue
Rosella FabricF4530-01
Jocasta Old Blue is a softly faded damask with an antique feel, worked here in dusty blue, sage and warm terracotta outlines over a pale ground. The large repeating motif reads settled and airy rather than bold, giving the design a calm, timeworn character.

About this fabric
This fabric has a 133cm approximate width and a generous vertical and horizontal repeat of 66cm, so the pattern makes a clear decorative statement across larger pieces. The composition is 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester, which suits the visible dry, slightly nubby surface and the cloth’s supple, woven look. In this Old Blue colourway, the ground stays light and chalky while the motif is softened with muted blue-grey, sage and faded coral accents, so the design feels cool overall with just a touch of warmth. The result is a graceful, gently aged textile that sits comfortably between relaxed and smart.
How to use it
Use it on occasional chairs, bed valances or full-length curtains where the faded blue palette can read softly against plaster, stone or pale wood. It also works well with ochre, tobacco and weathered oak if you want the warm accents in the pattern to come forward.
Pair with aged oak, chalky paint, and muted linens for a quietly refined look.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
