Jocasta Red/Sand

Rosella FabricF4530-04

Jocasta Red/Sand pairs a softly faded red motif with a sandy, lightly aged ground. The overall effect is decorative but gently worn, with the pattern sitting clearly against the pale background rather than feeling bold or heavy.

About this fabric

This Rosella fabric is composed of 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester, giving the surface a natural-looking texture with a subtle softened handle. The repeat is approximately 66cm vertical by 66cm horizontal, and the large-scale ornamental floral pattern reads across the cloth in balanced, repeating blocks. In this colourway, the red tones feel muted and vintage rather than bright, while the sand ground keeps the design airy and easy to live with. The mix of small medallions and larger paisley-floral forms makes it visually rich without becoming overly dense.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, occasional sofa or tailored curtains where the warm red accents can lift timber, plaster and linen finishes. It works especially well in rooms with aged brass, walnut and soft neutral paint, where the sand ground helps the pattern breathe.

A warm faded red with sand ground that suits relaxed classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
