Royce Red is a quietly muted rose-red with a dry, woven surface and a soft, heathered look in the light. The colour sits between pink and red, giving the cloth a warm, gently faded character.

About this fabric

This plain weave has no visible repeat, with vertical and horizontal repeats both recorded at 0cm approx, which keeps the surface calm and versatile. The 140cm approx width and composition of 39% cotton, 24% viscose, 24% wool and 13% polyamide suggest a substantial furnishing fabric with a balanced handle. Visually, Royce Red reads as a dusty, sun-baked rose with a slightly heathered depth rather than a bright or glossy red. The fine textural slub and soft matte finish give it a tailored, upholstered feel that still has enough fluidity for curtains. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair or banquette where the muted red can add warmth without feeling loud. It also suits relaxed drapery against oak, stone or deep green paint, where the softened rose tone will hold its own.

A softly weathered rose-red that works beautifully across seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
