Tarrano Red

Romilly FabricF4929-03

Tarrano Red brings a softly faded terracotta warmth to the Romilly design, with a small check-and-stripe effect that reads crisp rather than bold. The cream ground keeps the pattern light, while the red and muted green accents add a tailored, slightly heritage feel.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is a 139cm-wide woven cloth in 44% viscose, 26% linen, 22% polyester and 8% cotton, with no performance features noted. The repeat is approximately V 45cm / H 23cm, creating a compact, ordered pattern of fine horizontal bars and tiny linked details. In this Tarrano Red colourway, the palette is softened into blush terracotta, warm beige and restrained sage-green accents, so the design feels dusty and understated rather than bright. The visible weave has a dry, lightly textured handle that suggests enough structure for upholstery, while still sitting comfortably in a draped setting.

How to use it

Use Tarrano Red on a chair, banquette or occasional curtains where its muted warmth can sit alongside oak, limestone and aged brass. It works especially well in rooms that need colour without losing the calm, linen-led feel of the scheme.

Use it on tailored upholstery or smart curtains for a warm, refined look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
