Cyrus Blue

Rosella FabricF4507-03

Cyrus Blue gives the Rosella damask a gentle, vintage softness, with blue motifs sitting on a creamy ground. The pattern reads stately but light, thanks to the pale background and the softly blurred weave.

About this fabric

This woven fabric combines 54% viscose with 46% linen, giving the surface a slightly lustrous yet natural look. The damask pattern is large in scale, with a repeat of approximately V 63cm / H 124cm and a width of approximately 124cm, so the motif has room to breathe across a wider span. In this colourway, the blue sits in a muted, dusty register rather than a bright tone, which keeps the design calm and usable. The cream ground lifts the pattern and lets the scrollwork and medallions feel crisp without looking harsh.

How to use it

Use Cyrus Blue in a sitting room, dining room or formal bedroom where you want pattern with restraint. It works especially well with ivory paint, weathered oak and other soft, low-contrast finishes.

Pair with chalky neutrals and pale woods for a quietly elegant, classic room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
